What is Total 200? It's a fully supported bike ride to support the Chesapeake Bay Foundation. Do a century before lunch, then turn around and do it again. All in the same day. It’s the only ride like it in the area.

How it Works
Total 200 is a fully supported ride, thanks to our volunteers and sponsors. It’s a full day, and their support makes all the difference when you’re trying to go the distance.

The day starts at 5:00 am with check-in and orientation until 5:30 am. Meet other riders and wake up, pack your special needs bags into the lunch vehicle—so your things will be waiting for you when you get to lunch at the mid-point. We’ll review the course and rules of the ride, then be ready to roll at 6:00 am sharp.

From our starting point, we’ll take a lap around the US Capitol before following Pennsylvania Avenue towards Maryland. You’ll find aid stations located about every 25 miles along the route, where you can refuel on Hammer Nutrition products, food, fruit, and water. Our stop at mile 100—Point Lookout State Park—is a full lunch stop.

Start to finish, bike tech support crews will make sure we stay on track and ride smoothly.

Once we return, we'll be greeted with a post ride celebration and time to bask in your accomplishments with old and new friends.

From the Riders: What They Say
"The ride was unbelievable from every perspective! The volunteers were more like superheroes coming to our aid."

"An excellent day, an awesome ride, and a lot of good memories."

"200... the new 100"

"I think that was the best workout I have had in my entire life. I tell people about it all the time."

"The support we received at each aid station and the turn around point was just incredible!"

"The event seemed to be organized perfectly."

"Thanks again for a great ride! There are very few supported doubles around here, but this one was well done. Your volunteers were great!"

"I had an awesome time. That's the best one-day non-ironman event I've done."

"I'll wear my medal with pride!"

Chesapeake Bay Foundation
Save the Bay
This year, Total 200, is proud to join hands with the Chesapeake Bay Foundation (CBF) in their efforts to SAVE THE BAY. Total 200 is happy to announce that along with our new partnership with CBF, proceeds from this year's TOTAL 200 Ride will go to help build a sustainable bay for today, tomorrow and the future.

To some, "Saving a National Treasure" may not be important but to the cyclists and the athletic community as a whole, organizations like CBF ensure tranquil and environmentally friendly places for us to ride, run or walk with our family and friends. more »
